Over the years, we have had experience
with a number of different pedigree cat breeds, but for us, none even
come close to the amazing Bengal cat. With their stunning looks and
gentle natures, Bengals are in a 'premier' league, all their own and
second to none! These cats are without a doubt, the cleverest, most
loyal, loving, comical and beautiful cats we have ever had, and they've
completely stolen our hearts, forever. We've all agreed that a
house is not a home without our Bengal cats. By nature, Bengal cats have
the gentlest, sweetest temperaments of all domestic cat breeds, which we
discovered very early on, when we began breeding these wonderful cats.
Our Bengal cats and kittens show us by their loving cuddles, purrs, and
their desire to always be where ever 'their humans' are. Yes, they
follow you from room to room relishing any and all attention they can
get, so our Bengals make brilliant companions.
Since we started our Bengal breeding program,
our entire life-style is happily devoted to our very special,
affectionate Bengal cat companions. We cannot stress enough, how much we
love our beautiful Bengals, so everything - and we do mean EVERYTHING -
in our home and garden is geared towards giving our cats a fun, safe, stimulating environment.
We have recently expanded our already 'more than adequate' Bengal
friendly home and enclosed garden, to include even more exciting things
for our Bengals to explore, experience, play with and enjoy. One of our
proud new Bengal kitten owners actually describes our home and garden as
"a wonderful, magical Bengal cat 'theme park'."
As you already know, all of our
queens and kittens are kept indoors with us, but once the kittens have
been vaccinated, they are allowed to roam, at will, in our giant
Bengal cat friendly, outdoor kitty enclosure (size 48' L x 16' W x
7-1/2' H!!), which includes a rock fountain that the Bengals often enjoy
entertaining themselves in!! Yes, it's true, Bengal cats tend to love
water, whether it's in the shower, bath, sink, fountain, etc. these cats
are delighted to play in and be around water as their ancestors the
Asian Leopard cats do.
We recently visited an antique shop where we saw
a charming, large whiskey barrel. The moment we saw it we thought our
Bengals will really love this in their kitty garden. When we told
the shop keeper we were buying it for our Bengal cats, he looked
absolutely shocked and exclaimed, "Your spending THIS much money on a cat toy???"
It was hilarious - but what can we say other than, we go barmy for
Bengals! Incidentally, our cats absolutely love playing on
the barrel, in the barrel, sleeping in the barrel, etc., as we
suspected, so in the end it has been a great investment. Another
interesting observation about our Bengal cats is when they get a new
'toy', their little eyes light up and sometimes their tails fluff up
like a racoon's, they chatter to us and bounce around with anticipation,
so you can really see their excitement, and it's such a delightful
feeling. Hmmmm, maybe that's why our Bengals are always thrilled to see
us whenever we've been out for awhile - they know that they most
probably have some new treat or toy coming to them!
A few days ago, we had a heart-warming
phone call from one of our Jayuzuri Bengals, Bengal kitten new owners,
who had recently taken his two kittens home to his family with him. Tony
is over the moon, he exclaimed, "We can never thank you enough for our
beautiful kittens! I don't know what you're doing there, but don't ever
change anything, because your Bengals are so incredible! Our two
(Jayuzuri kittens) are everything and more than we ever expected and
hoped for... Your cats are the absolute best!!!"
Hearing comments like Tony's (which we do hear often, in all honesty!)
is what makes everything we do here at Jayuzuri Bengals, worth every
effort we put in to our beloved Bengal cats.
